I absolutely could not resist - this is what some may regard as a sad purchase but in all my years messing with cars I don't think I have ever seen a hardback user manual.

Where did those lovely-looking intakes come from?
What intake filtration have you got in that setup?
I love the radiator system and header, I have done something similar.

made the intakes about 14 years ago, just standard manifold with bell mouth type modification inside, rolled ally tube and misc plated all fitted together and welded to the split open original together to form this shape.

Cone air filters are in the inner front guards, not easy to get to to change but, how often do you change them.

Beautiful work.
Do you reckon the intake mods, bell mouths on the runners and all, has made a difference?

yup, dynoed over 4 diff stages.

1) 150kw stock 6l on with th400 trans 2.88 diff, (2005)
2) 170kw as above but with bell mouthed aj6 plenums end enlargedthrottles, va spiteri headers and autronic ecu.
3) 188kw as above but with manual transmission.
4) 205kw as above but large modified plenums as per above pics (2008)

next stage was to be larger motor flatheads etc etc but never got there

Thanks for posting this data, and congratulations for getting it. Interesting that it was 18KW = 24 BHP gained by the chnage to a manual box, I had though that it might be a bit more. Mind you, lots of weight saved too.

Beautiful work, it looks like you relocated the A/C compressor to the smog pump's location on US spec cars. I imagine this would help keep temps in "the V" quite a bit cooler. Is it the OE compressor with a custom bracket?

New sanden compressor, new bracket but very straight forward. Hardest thing was that i had to modify the thermostat housing so it did not foul the compressor

Default C46179

Having accumulated 4 heater fan quad relay relay C46179 I have found out a lot about them and I rebuilt them. Most of the prob are caused by careless dismantleing and ageing. I have found on them all it can be reversed. If anyone has an old faulty one I can work an exchange on it..prividing yours is servicable

I notice you have deleted the fill/purge spout on the cross over pipe. How do you get the air out with the stats closed? Unless you deleted the stats or modified the jiggler. I'm considering going back to stock rad config too.

Pretty sharp - I like those, very interesting choice too, many go for wool or tufted mats, carpets and seats are similar to mine and yet that color doesn't look too bad.

Holy SMOKES!!!

I have so so so so many questions...
It just wouldn't be right here...

Can you PLEASE talk about those intake manifolds a little bit more. What ever you'd like to offer will do just fine!

I read your reply to Greg but didn't quite understand

I found a guy via a Facebook Jag group that makes custom floor mats. He is in Turkey. Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/184619453756688
