It’s the switch. Give it a wiggle, push it hard m, quickly briskly, the push hold and really press.. that got mine working.

when that doesn’t work, you’ll have th open the switch up and clean it.

Not sure about the 92 but on the 94s I had there is a seat controller module under the seat that gets wet and fails.
It's under a carpeted panel at the front of the seat and the module looks like a VCR tape.

Same on the 92. Factory 92 wiring diagrams can be downloaded from this page.

If the failure is in that module, I might have one that works.
Send me the PN from the module or a pic of the connectors.

hi

I've just gojuto my seat control module and I think the part number is dbc 6597. I cleaned the contacts but this didn't work. Would you have a replacement please?

All the best,

Zarathushtra

Default Seat Memory Module

Sorry, that doesn't match any of the modules I have.
Are you looking at the module under the seat?
They usually have a TRW number.
Have you checked the controller on the door?

I don't have a 92, but I had a similar problem with my seat after I had removed it....for a reason I cannot recall.

In any case, check underneath the seat to make sure no wires, or harnesses are unplugged. Might be as easy as something getting pulled apart when shoving something under the seat, or maybe moving the seat disrupted something. It's worth a shot.

Thanks for the advise. It's definitely the module. I've swopped over and found it to be so.

I might open the faulty module and see if there is anything I can do.

All the best,

Zarathushtra.
