Anyone have a good feel of the actual trading prices of these year models w 50k or less miles?

Coupes in silver or black seem the most desirable.

Thoughts?

I'd think that should be just under 30K USD.

Wow, those prices seem really high to me. I wouldn't even pay those prices for an XKR! Seems like the early X150s are holding their value pretty well.

I've got a pristine 07 XK coup with 48k on the clock for sale on 5 different web sites at $26,900.

In the last 30 days I have had 1 serious caller, one guy who wanted to trade me some off the wall BMW SUV even up and 3 complete idiots. The 3 idiots would have wanted a better deal if I gave them the car. Maybe "kiss my ***" wasn't the proper response.

You got to figure that special appeal cars in this price range have a limited mkt. to begin with and that it only takes 1 buyer - but you also have to hand it to the auto sales professionals.

If your budget is a bit flexible I'd try to buy the newest XK you can find, and be aware there were broad performance upgrades to drivetrain and suspension in 2010. Many of those should be starting to come in off of 4 year leases and there may be competitive pricing on a broader selection going into winter. Good luck.

Unbelievable bang for the buck! But the prices are dropping faster than the Titanic!
Not good for owners but great for buyers. Oh well......

I agree with the 4 year leases soon becoming available as well as better pricing in the winter months. I've decided to bite the bullet and go with a 2010 or 2011 when the right car becomes available. These cars values are also extremely sensitive to mileage.

I can understand you didn't appreciate their calls but your description certainly made me laugh.

It's an expensive car to do as a private sale. Not so easy to sell by yourself.

Are you buying or selling?

If you're buying then are you financing? If you pay just a little more (and not hardly effect your payments - or go longer term and no difference) you can get the 5.0 and eLSD.
