Default 2007 XKR battery and p codes?

'07 20,000 miles, original battery, yep I know replace it immediately and that is my intent. I went to order up a new battery from local dealer and he tested mine. 1100 cold cranking amps, 13 volts, 10 volts with a draw. Is this good? sounded good to me, he said yes it's good and no reason to order up a new battery. So this got me to thinking about another issue I'm having with p codes. Will a tired/old but a seemly good battery throw p codes? Everything else works well. I would mention that when starting the car I can hear three distinct clicks and she fires right up. I don't remember this when purchased couple weeks ago but I have not driven it much. Is this a diagnostic? If I heard this on any other car I would say not getting enough juice to roll it over. But it starts every single time after three clicks. Thank you in advance for your time.

you are just asking for problems with this battery, when my 09 started to go would get clicks before she started up. Replaced with AGM Duracell from Sams club, $164 , size 49, if you decide to get one thru sam's you have to tell them your car is a 2010, otherwise they won't put it in as it is not the size recommend by Jag although it fits fine.

Low battery on startup will throw all sorts of weird and incorrect 'faults' because modules don't boot properly or in an incorrect sequence.

A failing battery can cause codes but that doesn't sound to be a failing battery.

What were the codes? Can they not be genuine?

P0141 = Catalyst monitor heater circuit (bank 1), high resistance or failure
P0145 = no such code in the workshop manual

Not in my 4.2 workshop manual, sorry - the Bank 1 sensor slow-response codes are P0133 (Heated Oxygen) and P0139 (Catalyst Monitor). There's no match for P0145, so I've no idea what it means. By the way, Bank 1 is the RH bank, viewed from the flywheel end.

All P0 codes are generic so you should be safe looking them up anywhere (avoid diesel meanings if you've not got a diesel). You just won't get a list of specific known causes for your exact car.

P1 codes are make/model/year specific so must real care must be taken with those.

So P0145 seems to be mysterious so I'll concentrate on the p0141. If I let the motor come up to operating temperature and clear the codes and if 141 does not return I feel confidant it is indeed a bad o2 sensor heater. If so maybe replacing it will resolve the 145 issue... maybe not... out of idea's except to try it. Any idea if the number two o2 sensor on bank 1 is easily accessible. Thank you in advance for your time.

It's worth getting an electronic copy of the workshop manual from these guys:

https://www.jagdocs.com

The Catalyst monitor sensor is bolted into the side of the cat converter. Not sure how accessible that is without dropping the front of the exhaust.
