2007 XKR convertible water pooling under rear seats
Hi guys , I`ve put this on the other Jag forum too, I'm looking for some advice , I've got some water ingress and its pooling under the rear seat on the driver side. I have actually got a cover for the car now so hopefully will avoid this happening again but it would be good to understand how its happened and where the water gets in as Id expect the car to be able to stay pretty watertight even being a convertible especially form this amount of water ,(unless this is something I should expect with an ungaraged convertible??) . I don`t want mold to start forming ,we have had some torrential rain in the UK over last couple of weeks which hasn't helped . Also on another note water seemed to pour out of the seals in the top when i opened the door too so it seems to be able to collect in places , all the seals seem in pretty good condition. I`ve had the car for 7 years now and had some good advice of these Jag forums dealing with issues as they arise so hoping the same for this one, thanks rear seat pooling of water rear seat pooling
Mine does the same, rear seats permanently stripped out now after mould appeared. I've checked all the seals but just cant find where it's coming in. Mine comes in equally both sides, very frustrating.
