Does anyone have photos on removing the door panel on a 2008 XK/XKR? I have the tech manual instruction 76.34.01 on removal but I was also looking for a more detailed instruction, I fear I might break a fastener if I do something wrong, or pry on it in the wrong place or wrong way. There is a thread in the forum with photos but the photos don't show up. There is a pretty good instruction on YouTube on removal but I think it covers the X100. Thanks.

Here's pics of the backside off eBay. Use a good door card removal tool (pic below. The one on far left is good for door cards. Fasters break easy and are cheap. Mounts break are a pain to fix. Note the clips at top of the door they're removed by pulling inward, not up like on many other cars. Pay very close attention to the tweeter. If is breaks, it's $250 for a used replacement.

also, I use adhesive window weather stripping between any component that squeaks, rattles, creaks.

 

Where can the fasteners be purchased?

 

ebay amazon, ford dealership? they'e called door card fasteners?

 

Be aware that the door panel isn’t one integral piece but 3-4 separate pieces that are glued together - and may come apart on you.
