Try not to get shot if you are around Chicago.

That looks much more enticing
If I get a chance, I’ll check it out during lunch tomorrow. I’ll need to check if it’s the Westmont or Warrenville location (seen both on the previously linked ads).

You may want to check this out. It is in Beverly Hills and is priced fairly low. I know nothing about the seller but will go check it out if you are interested. You can also get a PPI at Hornburg in Santa Monica or W. LA.

Well, the dealer did all the repairs, except the leaking seal (we meet half way on the price of the repair and is being removed from the total cost of the car). So, I'll be in GA this coming Friday, pick up the XKR, spend some time with family member who have to moved to the area, and the have a blast driving the car back home on Saturday.
Thank you again for all of you input and for those of you who gave me suggestions and offered to take a look at some of these XKR's for me.
Jon

Congrats on the car. We all wish you an uneventful (but fun) drive home.

Picked up the car on Friday morning, and WOW! I couldn't believe the difference between my 07 XK and this beast!
After I picked up my new XKR, I went to my cousin's (outside of Atlanta), where, after we grabbed a bite to eat, I tossed him the keys and said lets go somewhere... 1 hour later we returned back at his house (no doubt he loved driving it, and I can't complain about being in the passenger seat).
My drive back home on Saturday as uneventful and the car was a pure pleasure to drive. Looks like my 07 XK might be headed for the classifieds.
thanks again everyone for all of your input!

Fantastic and I hope you made it home with no added ticket luggage in your pocket! Now you'll have to a post photos of your own, maybe your two babies together.

Vette to the left, XF in the back on the right, and in the back & left, my 07 XK (you can barely see the roof).

Side by side with my vette... what a race that would be!

I'll get some pics of the XK and XKR and post them in the Picture Post Thread

Keep them all, don't get rid of the XK....makes for a great stable! I am concerned though that each of them have, what appears to be, a garage door opener defect in their hoods. lol We'll be waiting for more pix.

My fiance agrees. We talked about selling the XK after we move to Florida in early '19, and she gave me that look that says 'you better not'. About that defect... looks like I should detail them this weekend :-)
