Battery Disconnected, No Key, How to Open trunk RESOLVED
Ok .. here is my first post other than my introduction ....
So, I disconnected the battery (2007 XKR Coupe) , closed the trunk to go in the house and now I can't get the trunk to open. I just purchased the car and it only came with the FOB. The previous owner lost the physical key. Is there a way to open the trunk so I can put in a new battery?

Good luck
Good luck
MAYBE remove the back of the rear seat on the drivers side. With a flashlight you may see the white plastic handle hanging down near the trunk door.
With a two finger like hook on a stick, pull the plastic handle .
For the key the dealer told me they order it from England. They will ship it cut, directly to you. Around $100 USD.

Resolved ....
I took the back seat out to see if I could reach the latch to release the trunk. I noticed there was a connection to the battery. So I connected my GB40 to the terminal and the lights came on! I hit the trunk switch and "Holy Jaguar Batman
the trunk opened
.
Thanks for all of the suggestions Jag Fam! I am feeling Jagaliscous right about now
