Default Blower motor

I have a 2008 xkr. The blower stopped working so I removed it. Fuse is good. When I start the car it blower turns for about two seconds then stops. I tried it in auto and manual. Is there a starting coil. I'm hoping it's not a computer issue. Any help greatly appreciated.

I ended up having to replace both the blower control module and the fan. The fan bearing was making noise and would be stuck if I left the car for several days without driving it. All of this is from the fact that the AC is not draining...big pain in the butt

I did have the drainage problem. I tried the drain tube fix in a thread on the forum but it didn't work so I got the $700 dealer repair. Hopefully this will be the last bit of trouble from what should be a recall repair.
