Default British Racing Green - such a lovely color

Today was a stunningly beautiful day here in NJ - 68 degrees, a warm breeze and sunshine all over. Took the Jag out to Michael's Arts&Crafts to pick up some frames and snapped this pic in the lot. British Racing Green is hard to photograph sometimes but this pic caught the color just right.

Cheers!

What does its trim label show as the colour code?

This is the paint code: 1753, HGD. What I like about it is that it has no metallic flakes and it's a rich solid color with deep pigmentation. It looks heavy. In some light it's almost black. Jaguar hit this BRG out of the ballpark.

Nope. Still don't care for it one bit. I'd take any other color before it.

What a coincidence.
Thought of you this morning O'Donnell- the first and last time ever- and on this very subject!!
Saw a BRG Tesla parked at work. Wanted to make your day and tell you even the 'modern' cars seem to want that color.

It's always been my favorite Jaguar color...I also like Irish Green on the Porsche 911.

Weather was nice and crisp yesterday, I really enjoyed my drives.

I suppose where you are you enjoy the warm breeze, and I enjoyed the cold one here.

A proper BRG Aston Martin is always a sight to behold.

Is it possible that you were taken to Harrod's as a kid.

We'll always have a special memory about Harrod's. On our 1st trip to London our 7 year olds wallet was pick pocketed out of her purse in front of the busy main entrance. They got $25 of her piggy bank saved money.

British Racing Green - such a lovely color-100_1924.jpg

I've got a British Racing Green XJ12 and I had a XJR. I prefer Sea Foam, one of those love it or hate it colors. I love it with a green two tone interior it rocks.
