Considering a 2007-2009 XK
You can try to find that here:

TOPIx - TOPIx
If you register without taking a subscription you can access the "owner" part after entering the VIN number. there you can find a complete listing of all the options that came with that specific car.
I'll throw in 2 cents to this popular thread. Anyone who didn't take care of side vents probably didn't take care of the rest of the car. I looked at one 2007 with 36K and rejected it because the glove compartment fell open instead of gliding open slowly like it was supposed to. I think that people who don't pay attention to little details probably go over speed bumps at 20 mph also. Tracking a car a few times is one thing, but driving it hard every day is something else. I may be wrong, but when I sold my 2004 VW Touareg I had tended to every minor cosmetic detail, so you can be sure every mechanical detail was addressed as well. A few months earlier a passenger had asked me if it was a new car!
When I was looking, I went on cars.com and graphed out every XK and XKR (coupe) listed in the US, by model year, with mileage vs price. The trend quickly became apparent, as did the outliers. I really felt like I had a good feel for the value of any specific vehicle after that. It took some time, but hey, it's a hobby.
In the end it's not how much you pay, but how you feel about the transaction. This is not a business deal after all (or it's a bad one if it is!)
After two months I LOVE my XK even more than when I purchased it. I'm still a little embarrassed to be driving it, it's so showy. What a great feeling.

Update, I just bought a 2007 XKR Convertible today! It has about 54k miles, and I bought it for $35k. It is a Select Edition car with about 6 months left on the warranty, which is a big plus for me.
I will post pictures tomorrow when it's light out. After I bought it, I noticed some minor overspray on the right door--not sure what this is about, as I checked all panel gaps very carefully and it doesn't appear to have any prior accident damage.
Maybe it's not a screaming deal, but I think I did pretty well. It has the Alpine stereo, 20" Sentas, luxury package, and is ebony on charcoal, which is my number one choice. Mechanically, it drives great, even better than some newer ones with fewer miles. It definitely needs a good polish--I'll have to find time to do it as I have all the equipment, but just don't have the time!

WooHooo!
Congrats my friend, I'm certain your going to love how she makes you feel!
(I'm jealous of the "R" on your XK, BTW)

I can appreciate your patience finding the car you wanted and congrats on the buy. If you just bought it from a dealer, call them about the bolsters. In MD dealers have to give you bumper to bumper on any used car, plus it's still select edition. Don't know which state you bought it in. If you are looking for more warranty(probably not a bad idea), do it before select edition warranty expires. I'm sure the dealership offers 3rd party they use. Enjoy! I'm 3 months in now on mine and really enjoy it!
Hmmmm.. I bought it from a non-Jaguar dealer in Pennsylvania. They did include some sort of powertrain warranty, but I don't think it's bumper-to-bumper. Either way, I don't know if it's worth a trip out there if I can just have them repaired under the Select Edition warranty.
It seems that the headlights are adaptive. Strange--I thought this was only included in the advanced technology package, which is not listed on my window sticker (is that correct)?
The little circular flap on the front bumper is sort of misaligned (I assume the front bumper was repainted to prep it for sale). I took it off, but I can't really get it back on properly. Is there some procedure to do this? It would be nice to push it into place from behind but I can't reach!!

Oh, and I broke that little plastic cover on the top that's about a 1" x 1.5" plastic oval (on the front part of the top on the interior). Do you have any idea where I can get a new one? What's the part number?

Does the broken part look anything like #7 in the attachment above? Hmmm, a new top for just $11K.
