Default disabling engine from running - fault code?

2007 xk 4.2 NA. When I complete my rebuild of the oil cooler, I want to disable the engine from starting until oil can start circulating. Owners manual identifies the fuse as 33, 30 amp back seat panel. If I pull the fuse to allow oil to refill the circuit, will it generate error codes? Is there a better way to achieve this? I noticed that the xk8 forum stated that flooring the accelerator prevents running, on those engines. Thanks in advance.

There is something much easier, but I don't recall the full correct procedure. Something about depressing the accelerator pedal numerous times and holding it to WOT and then cranking the engine.
Maybe someone else can elaborate this.

Just holding the pedal fully down (check no obstacles under pedal!) before trying to start should do it. Don't pump it.

I'd just pull the fuel pump fuse. But I'm not certain this's even necessary as there will still be friction even without ignition.

Pulled the fuel pump fuse, 33 (30 amp) rear fuse panel, which DID NOT generate fault/error codes when cranking to circulate oil thru the replaced oil cooler. Thanks for the replys.
