Default Drivers side door rattle-vibration

Hello:So, I have noticed that at certain speeds on rough roads I hear a vibrating noise coming from my driver’s door. The noise reminds me of a screw vibrating on a metal plate if that makes any sense? Any suggestions on what this noise could caused by? Or any suggestion on an excellent dealer in Norther California that has the technicians that have solved rattle and or sound issues in the past that you would recommend. My local dealer has tried once to solve the issue so I am willing to try something new even if it means going out of town to have the car worked on.
Thanks in advance.

Default Have u taken the panel off

I would think if you took the door panel off & drove the car it would be fairly easy to determine where the sound is coming from. I’ve had my panels off due to some locals that thought it would be fun going down the block & shattering people’s windows. I did the glass replacement on both doors & it’s a fairly simple process. My first thought is the cable that goes from the inner door handle to the licking mechanism. It is wrapped in foam but can rattle if isn’t set in its proper position. I’m in the Bay Area, I’d be happy to help out if I can. Send me a pm.

Thank you for the suggestions on what might be causing my car's door rattle. I will be bringing up the cable for the locking mechanism when I bring my car in for service this month. I have decided to give my local dealership one more chance to rectify this problem.

Once again thank you so much for the response, it is really appreciated.

Probably not the issue, but I find that if my seat is back too far that it will make a noise as it hits the panel behind the seat from time to time.

Update. I took my car in for service and had the technician drive with me to hear my door rattle. Luckily the door rattle appeared within a block and the technician heard it. So it turned out to be the Regulator cable in the door which had come unclipped and was repaired. The rattle is 90% gone and only appears on the roughest roads when cold at only OCD levels. On Christmas day I took a ride over the same route that originally alerted me to the rattle it was gone on. What a great Christmas present. Once again thanks for the replies, so grateful to be a part of this community.
