Default Fasteners for XKR 4.2L Engine Cover C2P5448

I have somehow lost 1 of the fasteners along with the rubber bushing for it and need a replacement, new or used, for the engine cover on my XKR. I'm not sure what type of fastener these are. They are similar to a Dzus type but not quite.
Any help is appreciated.

Try any Ford dealership and tell em it's for an 07 (back when Ford made the XK). Nothing changed in that regard and the part should just cost a few $.

In the past I've taken a photo of obscure parts like these and then used them for a Google image search. Out of all the images that come back, you will probably find the name or part number of the component and then you can set about tracking it down. I've never failed to hunt down fasteners etc this way. Give it a shot!

Have you considered removing the engine cover? Not much to look at but helps release a lot of heat and heat issues.

Default Engine cover fasteners

I’ll take a look. I think I purchased small box them from Welsh.

I believe I also need a set of engine cover fasteners. The ones on my car require a socket to remove (they are still plastic), while the ones I've always seen pictured in dealer cars have tabs for turning by hand.

I would love a set if someone has extras.

Here's my 2009 4.2L XKR engine compartment. Enlarge it to see the Phillips head Engine Appearance Cover screws and the other plastic trim fasteners with the raised + on top to twist them on and off. If you need the + fasteners, I have a few so PM me.

I bet removing your engine cover degrades NVH significantly. But some might be into the supercharger wine

WHOA! I can't believe all the PMs I have already received! I have a few and doubt that I can fulfill all your requests. So no more PMs, please.

It would seem a lot of us could use some. They are probably also available in the FORD parts catalog, like most other stuff on our cars.

Is there a part number or reference for these?

Default Dzus fastener

Thought I should clarify my earlier post. After some research it is a Dzus fastener and I have attached a picture of the fastener and the rubber grommet.
Many places sell Dzus fasteners and if you want them for a particular motorcycle or need 1,000 it's easy.
However if you need 1 only of a specific size it's not so easy and the dealer tells me the only way to get one is to order a new cover and they will come with it.
