Just to give an update, the Land Rover screw PZM100060 is a couple of mm shorter than the original screw on the engine cover, but it works fine and the head of the screw looks identical to the original.

So it's an alternative. I put one on a car today.

Didn't try for the rubber grommet though.

ONE SCREW for seven bucks??!!?? Yeah, 'screw' that noise.

The quarter turn fasteners from Land Rover work fine. They are only about 1mm shorter but they are shorter.



The shorter length can be overcome by pressing the receptacle clamp so that it is closer to valve cover bracket. The receptacles can be easily slide off to remove and simply pressed in vise. I





I also added nylon washers to each in order to retain the fasteners from getting lost in the future. Found 1/4 inch nylon flat washers at home improvement store. Just press them on to shaft. Oh...the only difference is the Land Rover fastener is a standard driver head not the phillips head.

Jaguar XK XKR Engine cover grommets I can get them for you or just order on eBay these are Land Rover but all the same fitment..
