Default Going full beast mode with 2013 XKR-S

Ok, not really. Getting mods done that are out there (flash, air filter, supercharger pulley) and an opting time remove airflow restriction by removing rear muffler. Also adding custom made dive planes and 2” splitter. Rear wing will remain the factory one. Going to use it on track and on streets to promote our business. Long story about the car, will explain that later. My business partners little sister passed away before we had chance to help her. He favorite song was Imagine by John Lennon, the number plate is actually her birthday. This is the before (wrecked it), and design contest winner of what it will look like this week. Will share pics when we do the “reveal”. Will also strap it down for accurate dyno numbers for those who are interested Watch this video about the car:

In F-type, intake and exhaust mods provide almost no performance benefit even with a tune. It is likely the case with XKR-S as power train is the same. Don't waste your money.

That is great info! But I think they already fabbed exhaust pipes and removed muffler. Worst case scenario is I put it back on. Thanks for reply

There's a xkr in nz with nothing more then small pulley upgrade, x pipe and tune putting down 11.5 and 125mph .

Considering op already has the dynamic exhaust with the small pulley upgrade and tune he'd pick up at least 60-70hp.

In regards to f-type I've seen the Times on a convertible variety come down from 11.7 to 11.2 , with the right tune and a few small upgrades there is still a huge chunk of performance to be gained on the 5l

Awesome! Thanks for sharing that! I will update here everything I do and what I gain, as well as dyno videos and at the strip. Won’t take it there much, as it will be more road track flavor.

Your best bang for buck after the tune, pulley and X-pipe, is to put that "pork-chop" on a serious diet!

If you could drop 200-220 kg's (450-500 lbs), you would greatly enhance the driving experience.

This is going to be one epic build can't wait to see the transformation of beast to Super Beast !!

JagRag is on the right track with the weight watchers diet !!

Thanks to Jahumner he's paved the way on his xkr with the following (forgive me if I've left anything out)
-BC coilovers
-Lightweight alloys
-Back seat strip
-2 piece front rotors
Think all up he's down 150lbs now

Depending how drastic you want to go Cobra seats / braum seats come in at roughly 30lbs which is exactly half the weight of our seats . So with the above weight reductions and new seats you'd be in the ballpark of being 200lb lighter ...what a driving experience that would be !

SM, that truly is an amazing looking vehicle, the new livery isn't (IMO) at a brash and is rsther tasteful. If someone had told me they were fitting white walls to their XK I'd have poo poo'd the idea...but they look awesome!!!

Although mine's nothing in comparison but I've a smaller upper, larger lower pulley, H pipe and no rear box and mine's actually down on power at 493! I does sound a lot louder though

It is really crying out for a tune and perhaps something I'll do after my tranny fluid change and solid SC nose coupler is done

I did have wortec suncut rotors/disc fitted that shaved off 45lbs of unsprung weight, can I ask if yours are stock...am.thinking not?

Great work and lovely heartfelt vid.

Thanks for the reply Mark. The wheels and rear spoiler will remain stock-not like in the video. Since the car was totaled in a minor fender bender, I decided to use it for a higher purpose and bring not only awareness, but solutions for those who suffer from autoimmune diseases to the Foundation we founded for Gina Cloud. It will be used for good of those who are suffering. It will look different when completed, won’t be metallic green in the front, but will be the actual British racing green color.

I do plan on strapping it down to a dyno for further tuning, and will share the results as well. I did remove the headliner and put a lightweight suede piece in there instead. Not sure how much weight that saved.

appreciate the input on mods you have done too. Thank you again

After swapping pulleys, please make 100% sure that you are not having thermal issues. Getting too hot is how you getting detonations and wrecked supercharged engine.

Don’t forget exhaust - 100 cell cats, resonators removed in favor of cross overs and rear back box delete as well as removal of intakes and filter boxes which were quite heavy, removal of spare tyre and tools and rear seatbelts although upfront I added Schroth 4 point harnesses. The net result is over 200 pounds saved and I reckon with proper race seats, lighter lithium battery and perhaps a few more adjustments I may get closer to 400 pounds total.

Heat soak really only a concern if you are tracking the car, things like methanol injection as I’ve done and larger heat exchanger can help.

From reading your artist's comments in the Youtube feed I would understand, his intent was to represent classic Jaguar colors to modern colors, hence the Green to Blue transition. So BRG in the front would be more in line with that concept.

However, that metallic/chrome Green is stunning, that is what first caught my eye. I think the video color scheme was very unique and looks amazing!!!

JH, if I may ask a personal question, your own body weight? I sit at 70kg l, (154lbs) so 1 5kg off Lewis Hamilton's driving weight ( i am sadly not as talented). But the same that I weighed 35yrs ago*

Ask as in the Miata scene (already a lightweight sportscar) there were quite a few lard@rses intent on stripping out weight in their modified cars, when (to me at least) the easiest solution was for them to go on a personal crash (see what I did there?) diet!

Apologies if this came across as rude, but it does continually make me chuckle when peeps are debating car weight loss

* I have more of an incentive than most as if I go above 165lbs I have to use walking aids..which is a sobering thought.

I'm not easily offended, somewhere between 160-175 pounds.
