Default It's been nice - Time to move on

Owned the 08 XK vert we bought last April, it's been a nice car to own/operate but I missed my Z06. So to clean out the garage and make room for a new C7 vette, I traded the 08 XK and my old gas guzzler Dodge Durango on a 2012 Chevrolet Volt.

I'm also number one on my dealers allocation for a new C7 (due in 2014).

So thanks for all the advice and help and happy motoring.

Cheers

Tom, your first mistake was to go from a Z06 to a regular XK instead of an XKR ;-)

When does the new C7 come out? I'm sure it will awesome. I bought an 03 Z06 new and that car still is a beast yet good gas mileage and a relatively smooth ride due to long wheelbase. And a terror on a track. Nobody can argue with a Vette!

Tom,

Sorry to see you go, but not really surprised. Reading about the problems you had with the '08 was helpful to me when I was looking to buy an XK, and also to others I'm sure. Good luck with the Vette...I'm sure it will be amazing!

Tom

You're leaving so soon!

Good luck with the Vette, I'm sure it will be one heck of a car when it arrives.

Tom,
I hate to see you leave too. And I can see how you are excited about the new C7. It looks like a winner. I've been dealing with Corvettes for years. But the Volt? I'll be nice and not comment on it.
