Jammed my bushing!!
SOrry no pics yet, but I need help. My boyfriend and I were going to put a Mina upgrade pulley on my 2013 xkr ragtop and cut the pulley too deep. When we put the puller on the pulley it literally ripped the pulley off and left the bushing on the blower shaft. No room left to put a puller on the shaft as it sits almost flush with the seal on the snout of the blower. any suggestions to pull off the bushing of the pulley off or do we have to cut it off? Thanks so much in advance. I know the rules and will go back and do my intro!!

Not good.
From your description, it sounds like it will have to be cut off but impossible to make a definite judgement on that without seeing a photo.

Ouch something similar happened to mine, but I'll have to ask the shop how they got the busing off.

Rather than cutting right through the bushing, perhaps you can cut a notch on each side to give the puller something to bite on. Just an idea...

As a 3 year veteran of this forum I got the biggest chuckle ever out of this thread. While I realize the Mina pulley upgrade is a popular mod for XKR owners if I didn't know any better I swear this thread was a complete set up. Consider the evidence.
The thread starts interestingly when you break up the originators 'handle' 'a 36 double d eurobabe' who goes on to state ' ... ripped the pulley off and left the bushing on the blower shaft'
1st Reply ' ...... it sounds like it will have to be cut off*'
2nd reply ' Ouch something similar happened to mine...'
3rd reply ' Rather than cutting right through the bushing, perhaps you can cut a notch on each side to give the puller something to bite on'
Are you guys kidding me!!! Am I the only one seeing the double entendre in this thread.
I apologize now for any offence and trust I haven't breached a forum code of conduct but I couldn't resist. As a Brit now living in the States this is straight out of a Benny Hill sketch (and for those too young to know what I'm on about or wondering what I'm smoking go check you tube clips) You've got to see the funny side here.
