Why? Double-locking is disabled by the factory on all North American market vehicles. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration has deemed that feature a safety hazard as passengers can get locked in without being able to get out, and suffer from excessive heat.

On my 2010 UK spec. a single click does not activate the trembler alarm so ok for the ferry (or whilst jacking).

Default Embossed headrest XKR

Many of the dealer sheets that I looked at stated that the XKR had embossed R on the headrests but almost all that I looked at online didn’t have them.
My Portfolio doesn’t have them also.
were they an option or something that Jaguar just decided not to include?

Mine are getting less obvious over the years, but they are still there.

As does mine.

Coincidentally , I parked beside an XK but something was off…
Updated xkr nose
Oversized rear wing
An R badge
Cheap, wrong offset aftermarket wheels
Dropped to low like a …..
And missing the vented hood.
And missing fender side vents.

It made me sad… for the car.
