Looking for an installer for JagWrangler Remote Top in South Florida - RESOLVED
I saw the recent post from someone who bought the Jagwrangler Remote Top Kit several years ago and never installed it. I am in the same camp. Bought my kit 2 years ago.
Can anyone recommend someone in South Florida (I live in Boynton Beach) who would do the install?
Thanks,
Ken

That kit is so completely easy to install, unless you are completely unable to follow directions it would be well within 99% of everyone's skillset. Course there are other valid factors such as mobility problems and such, but if you're just worried about messing up, that is very unlikely to happen doing it yourself.
I installed the module over the winter. It's a 3 on a difficulty scale of 1-10 only because of the tight area and the need to be careful when attaching the wires. The technical installation manual is written to perfection so you can't mess up. If you're able to move reasonably well and are OK working in the tight area do it yourself and enjoy the satisfaction of DIY.
However, if you suffer from physical limitations or simply prefer to pay someone else to install it, that's your choice and nothing to be ashamed of. I just enjoy the feeling of accomplishment after putting something together with my hands and then seeing it work. If you spent your career behind a desk you know what I mean.
Anyone who knows how to use basic hand tools and can read English and takes their time to follow the instructions to the letter can do it.
You may want to re-read the original thread started by WhiteXKR about his remote control top device. I was one of his first customers and installed his kit myself in July 2014 and it has worked perfectly ever since. This thread is worth reading in its entirety, and my comments and installation tips begin with my Post #153.

Best mod you’ll ever do to a ‘vert, feels good to have done it yourself too, if you’re able to try it.
On the rare chance you have a problem, Steve’s great at helping out. (At the time I did mine, Steve didn’t know about the OEM windscreen brackets, but the steps for that option were quickly added to the detailed instructions (along with pics from my car
)).

I couldn't find a local shop to do the install, so I did it myself. You are all correct. It was not difficult. Took a little over 3 hours and I'm glad I finally did it. Thanks for all your comments. It gave me the confidence to do it myself!!
