Lost 53 pounds today...lithium conversion success!
Follow up to report how fantastic this battery is. Has not been on the CTEK since fitted. Driven rarely and for short distances only until track season resumes later this year. Battery at full charge, all electrics operating correctly, wish I'd done this years ago. Certainly appears significantly more reliable than even AGM.

No issues whatsoever, even with headlamps on and playing music at high volume, no indication of interior filament lamps dimming or flickering either. When I spoke with AntiGravity support, he explained, like lithium batteries used in other daily used devices, their behavior is just quite different, it's apple to oranges so to speak so you can't rely on comparing things like amp hours. Lithium offers more stable and reliable power than lead acid BUT with this size battery, you will not get the long running time with alternator not running as you would with a full size lead or lithium battery, likely about 20 minutes on this one compared to perhaps an hour with a well sorted lead or full size lithium.
Well, since supposedly the battery is used for ONLY starting the vehicle (yeah), any battery capable of doing that SHOULD suffice as the alternator is supposed to be capable of running everything PLUS charging the battery...... so........ again supposedly any battery powerful enough to start would be good.
that's just their database being incomplete. to the best of my knowledge we all have an H8/L5/49 battery. https://antigravitybatteries.com/pro...tive/ag-h8-rs/
you can use anything you like so long as its built for the correct voltage, rated for enough current to crank the car, and bolts down tight with whatever bracketry you've got or choose to make. a comparable AGM: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...t=2476&jsn=824
