I had one on my XJ and loved it. I parked the xj in downtown Houston one night and some one stole the hood ornament. It is probably around some rappers neck somewhere. But why miss up the beautiful lines on the xk is something I can't figure out. To put it in medical term " insert it rectally stat" .
The first XK we bought that was totaled had the leaper installed by the previous owner. Don't care what you yahoo's say, it was a magnificent piece of jewelry on the front of that car!!! If anyone had tried to modify my rectum with this ornament they would have found themselves in a bad state. I jest, seriously, I understand how subjective such things are and could care less what anyone else's opinion would be.
My wife has always joked about owning a Jag someday, so last fall when I took her to see the XK that was for sale, her very first remark was "Where is the Cat on the hood"
Got a good laugh out of it, bought the XK, but skipped the hood ornament.
