The R emblem on the front grille began with the 5.0L XKR models. Some 4.2L owners added it to their cars.

The only XKRs I've seen with the //R on the front grill have been 2012+ models. Never on anything newer.

MY 2011 R does NOT have one either. I bought one but have not put it on the car. Don't know if I will.

My 2010 XKR has one which I painted red so it would stand out and provide a little pzazz to the liquid silver body and chromed grill.

I think fitment started with 2012+MY. There wasn't one on my 2011 so I added one.

I want to add the //R to my front grill on my 10 XKR. I have tried getting to the rear of the grill from the bottom, passenger headlight, and radiator areas with no luck. Their is no room to get my arm in there no matter which way I try.

Im probably answering my question, but is the only way to remove the bumper cover ?

I tried using just the 3m tape which was applied to the back of the tailgate emblem, but I didn’t like the lack of hold it provided with suck a small contact area. Then I purchased the emblem with the two studs off eBay and I couldn’t get behind the grill to secure the washer and nuts.

But you sir, just gave me the solution “trim adhesive” using the emblem with the two studs ( shortened ) and glueing them to the grill which will also keep it level within the weave Thank you very much.
