Default Rear gearbox mount broken

Gear changes have been getting progressively harsher, decided to investigate and noticed a broken gearbox mount p/n: XR849534.

My local JLR dealer quoted me 1400€ for part alone. Not going to happen. Neither will I buy URO parts rubbish from Amazon.

Does anyone know if a similar looking part from a newer XF or F-Pace will fit?

Seems it's a bespoke part for the XK. URO may be better than nothing and last as long as you own the car. Don't think it's a hard job even if you have to do it more than once. Or a US dealer?

Buy the URO for $54. The Jag unit needs to be gold plated.

Took a gamble and ordered one for X250.

If it doesn't fit, at least it was cheap. Fingers crossed!

Don't know why, but the part numbers are a mess.

Since I was in a hurry, I ended up getting a used mount from a flood damaged low mileage F-Type. If anyone is interested, part number was C2D38505. Works perfectly, no more clunking when shifting into reverse.

there’s like 1000 variants of trans mounts they all bolt into each other. some are fluid filled some aren’t.

the $80 amazon full set of engine and trans mounts for a 5.0 xf works fine. your engine mounts are definitely broken too if it has more than 50-60k on the clock the emergency strap just stops it from hitting stuff

Got the 2x engine and 1x trans mounts for my 4.2L on some ibSpot website for $185 a few weeks ago.
PANGOLIN 3PCS Engine Motor Mount Left Right & Trans Mount C2P17845 C2D38505 Engine Mount for 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 Jaguar XF XJ 5.0L 4.2L”

Jag Indy and generic family shop both quoted $800 for install. Ouch. So gonna go with the Indy.
