What brand and model of shock absorbers do you recommend.
My driving is not aggressive at all and I don't want to turn it into a board, but I also don't want it to turn into a boat.

Mine were bespoke even if they are not on their website they will make them for you any way you want, spring rates and even Swift springs.

i rather like the stiff mode! i drive as fully spirited as circumstances permit (i don't see any cops. you see any cops? i don't see any cops.)

since the topic was raised, would you kindly elaborate? i've considered aftermarket suspension parts but i definitely don't want dash warnings at all times.

Another option is to have your old cats shocks refurbished by a specialized shop.

it was possible for the X100 which had Bilstein shocks and it cost a third of the new price.

Worth checking for the X150 IMHO.

As the 5.0 has an E-Diff that talks to the suspension module, pulling the fuse on the 5.0L XK's and XKR's will cause and E-Diff Fault and Adaptive Suspension Fault. the 4.2's though are unaffected by this

Hey jahumner,
Thought u might be able to help. Got a “suspension fault” on ‘05 XKR and R front is abt 1/2” lower than L front. Is there a quick fix or diagnostic or is my whole CATS busted?
Thanks,
dan314

Dan - you are in the wrong Forum. This is for X150s built between 2006 and 2014. YOu belong in the X100 Forum They were built from the late 90s through 2005. Perhaps a moderator will move your post there for better answers.
