Could also be a wheel bearing. Simple job to jack up each rear wheel in turn and give them a spin to check.

Loose exhaust? Will it do it with the car in Park and revving into the power band slowly?

Are you sure it's just when pulling away and not when turning and pulling away. There has been discussions about "shuddering," a vibration at low speeds when turning. I have had it many, many times on my 2010 XKR, and changing differential fluid seemed to take it away. I haven't had it in a very long time now, and it used to be constant.

What Ted said, particularly when the XKR hasn't warmed up. Service people tell me that that is what causes the shudder and not to be concerned about it.

This is what I was going to post as well. Sounds like a common issue, I had it with mine as well until I changed the differential fluid.
