My wife and I drove from Seattle to Atlanta. I surprised her with a VDP from a dealer in Vancouver. We picked the car up in Seattle and drove it back to Atlanta - a 5 day trip. This was in 1999, and in a 1998 XJL VDP.

Issues? Well, they would not let me pump my own gas in Idaho...

No issues on that trip. I eventually had to replace the engine in that car due to the timing tensioner and a broken timing chain. I almost left Jaguar because of it.

I did drive my 07 from Houston (where I purchased it) back to Atlanta. I am so very impressed with my XKR. The difference between my 02 XKR and this new generation is night and day. The only issue I've had with it was the drivers door module - it was replaced under warranty.

Everything else has been great. Everybody stares at the car, and many people walk up and comment on it just about everywhere I go.

One thing I enjoy about having this car is that it isn't *everywhere*. I actually like the new Camaro, but everybody and their brother has one.

Drove from Colorado to Atlanta....1400 miles this April. Was uneventful except for the phone call to the seller on the first day to figure out how to activate the cruise.

2425 miles logged on my trip, Tampa to Chicago. Only issue was a TPMS warning on the left rear wheel on day 2, Brand new Michilens, added few psi and was good to go, maybe change in altitude...

Charleston SC to Garden Bay BC up coast from Vancouver 6500 KMs. Found out later that I had a bad front wheel bearing and poor brakes. Trip was uneventful and a very nice ride.
