Id like to have a wind deflector for my 5-6 hour drive home from picking up my first jag.
Seller sent me a link to Cabrio Supply saying the guys at the car events told him they were the best quality.
He had a diff brand years ago, but said it was cheap and went brittle and broke.
Sorry, but I can't help. The company I bought mine from is no longer in business. Mine is black with Ivory stitching to match my Ivory leather. There are several available in different colors on Amazon and eBay. Tariffs may have caused the prices to have gone up.
Hopefully, you'll get advice from someone who recently bought one.
My car came with the OEM wind deflector (and the required brackets installed).
Adamesh sells a popular aftermarket wind deflector (at least if you search this forum, the name pops up a lot), and doesn’t require brackets).
One of my biggest concerns was watching the install which has two rear support poles that go into the rear seat seatbelt slots for added support.
Feel like over time they would rub and damage the plastic lining of those openings.
Like I should wrap them in a matching black cloth tape before installing.

I covered mine with clear plastic tubing. I think I used 1/4" inside diameter, maybe 4" long. I think I had some laying around in my workbench drawer.
The Adamesh wind detector is very similar to mine. Installation is very easy.
Only deflector I had was fir a Aston Martin..worthless..
owned many xk8s and xks..
Don't see an issue??
Definitely worth it, especially if you also install theJagWrangler remote top controller with rear window control.
Top down, windows up, deflector deployed, you can cruise the highways with no buffeting in the cabin. Doing 85 down the road, I only feel a light tapping on the top of my head, hat never blows off (ok, blew off once due to a cross wind, but the hat planted firmly on the horizontal portion of the deflector, held in place by air pressure, reached over, grabbed it, put it back on and continued without ever slowing down).

This is exactly why.
Im 6’3 so hair is at top of windscreen.
Wife is eurasian so her long **** thick hair blew forward into her face when we test drove a few.
If I can mitigate that and be able to make business calls with the top down, all will be good.
The remote top is #3 after deflector and Mr12V.
I'm 6-2 and can DEFINITELY tell a difference in a deflector or not. Wind AND sound. Mine's always installed and always up, unless the top is up, then fold the deflector.
The deflector I had in my XK8 didn't do smack.
I ordered one from the Netherlands and am having it shipped to the seller’s house. (Can’t carry that on a plane)
Thanks to @Stuart S i ordered a 10’ roll of .75” inner diameter clear tubing.
Will cut and bring 2 6” sections (just in case 4” is a hair too small) in my carry on.
