Default X150 Front Bumper Tow Eye Cover

Hi All,

My front bumper tow eye cover managed to get lost today and I was hoping someone could provide me the part number as I'm finding conflicting data online.

Push comes to shove I'll go to the dealer but I'm looking for other sources first before paying those scalper prices.

My car is a 2011 XKR.

Thanks

Some obsolete parts are still available directly from the factory at Classic Jaguar Land Rover Parts. Also try eBay, or Google "Jaguar dismantlers" or "Jaguar junkyards". Also post a WTB (Wanted to Buy) free advertisement in the Forum Marketplace

Hmmm, a contestant for a 3D printer ??

And as it happens, my local public library has a workshop.
I might get it scanned into an image file this weekend…

I bought a used one from eBay recently, was £30. I am currently in the process of painting it. Could be worth checking on there.

30 pounds!?! I was thinking like giving a donation to the library of 5 bucks.

Yep, expensive for a small circle of plastic but still less than half the price of a new one. Options appeared to be limited and it's not becoming of a Jag to have a big hole in the front bumper.

I bought a spare one, some number of years ago, as I’d removed mine to mount my front license plate, and then I couldn’t find it . So I bought a spare, and then subsequently found the original. Now I keep both, just in case my state ever removes the front plate requirement, then I’ll have twice as many chances of finding a cover.

If you could that would be great as another option to get it replaced.
Thanks

First kick at the can (and first time using this lab).
It very interesting and fun… and takes a little more effort than I thought it would.
The first pass at this tow eye cover is less than adequate. I will adjust the design and give it another shot. Stay tuned.

Yes that's the trade off?
How many hours of your time are worth 30 GBP? 2-5-10 hours? And then the cost of supplies.

Wondering the same thing too. Don't know anything about how to 3D print, but would def support anyone that is inclined to make this happen with a couple of purchases to beta test the print and help make it worthwhile.

Just a little heads up, JLR is not producing any more body parts. Once warehouses run dry, that's it. Whoever can 3D print them, is a legend.
