Hi! I have this weird noise since a few weeks. Sounds like a Fan or something else. The noise starts after a cold start but only as soon as you put it in reverse or in drive .It increases a little bit when I start driving/ increasing the revs but after around 2500rpm the engine is louder than the noise. Its gone when the car is warm and does not come back if you start the car again/ when its not cold.

2010 XKR Supercharged, 112.000km, new water pump, all belts and fluids changed (diff, sc, steering/servo, coolant, gearbox flushed by ZF, noise was already there before everything got changed)

I attached a short video of the noise, if anyone know what it is or had the same/ similar problem it would be a big help! Car runs smooth absolutely no problems, perfect idle on cold or warm, only this annoying noise

It's part of the emission controls. It's a fan that pumps extra air to the intake that only ever operates in very cold temperatures.
It's buried in a corner of the front of the car behind the bumper, under the headlight.
