It's funny - she's the most unmaterialistic woman I've ever known and couldn't care less about the car. She loves our adventures in it but doesn't have an interest in driving it.

It's funny that you're not the first to ask this!

Congrats!

Should you decide to have kids, you might actually get some use out of the back seats! (lol)

Very nice. A classy couple for a classy car. Now get to work and fill those back seats.

I come with a 6 year old that fits perfectly. The E class is the family hauler mostly though... at 160K miles it still runs strong. And with the 7 speed tranny the V8 still gets 32mpg on the highway.

Congrats and well done..

Regarding lending ones pride and joy to the misses... Hmmmm, only took my wife to weeks to make our bmw x5 19" rims looked like they had contracted bubonic plague, after she became the primary user

She has no interest in driving it for now so I don't encourage it either. My dad was in town and I could tell he was disappointed I didn't let him take it out. He has bad road rage and is not used to car with this power - with the cold, wet roads he would have wrecked it for sure.

It really is a matter of safety.

An XKR and an E Class family hauler = Happy Driveway!
