Are your fans on after shutdown
I've only heard of maybe 1 or 2 instances where the radiator fans have run after shutdown. I have never had this occur yet but was wondering if others have had this as a normal experience. Now up north our summers usually hit 80*F-90*F with some spikes of 95*F or better but not a normal condition. Regardless of the temps as I pull into my garage after a run my engine temp is between 200*F and 205*F as I put the top up. I don't get out of the car but I think I can hear the fan running but as soon as I shut down there is no fan noise and getting out of the car and walking around the front it is quiet. Understanding the fans are variable speed I couldn't find what temps the fan speed increases and what temps they shut down. Also my AC system is always on Auto so I assume the fans are always on. Just curious as to others experiences.
It is normal and usually will run for 90 seconds give or take, sometimes alot more or less.. They also come on for ac system head pressure not just engine temp. All control by the ecu software
Recently my thermostat went out, that was the only time I actually heard the fan running after shut down. Even Texas summers at 110F, I could not hear the fan. Once the thermo went, it got very loud.

Normally I cant hear anything beyond the exhaust expansion/contraction clanks.
