Recommended Expert for Improvements & Repairs in the Northeast
Hello!
I recently got a 53' XK120. Really love the car. I had bought it from Classic Motorsports in Long Island and had a number of issues as the car had to be shipped back twice due to items not functioning, car not starting, etc... I now want to get some service work done on it and had shipped it to Donavan in Massachusetts. Their communication has been really bad, not great online reviews, as my red flags are going up left and right. I know it really requires an expert to work on the vehicles and am wondering if anyone had someone in the northeast US who would be a good resource for me.
Thank you so much as I am not sure where else to go

Are you actually in Saratoga Springs? I am and can give you a good name. I first need to confirm that he can support additional customers.
We'll have to compare cars. I had my 1956 XK140MC at the Saratoga Auto Museum show on 8/2 and was awarded "Best in Show"! I'll contact my mechanic and find out if he can take on more cars. He's mostly retired. Oh, I'm about 3.5 miles north of the city.
That 120 is a beauty!! The drop heads and Coupes have nicer interiors than the OTS. I think I saw the orange Mclaren. I'm waiting to hear back from my mechanic. I'm sure he will take you on I just want to hear from him before giving out his contact information. I had to go through the same process before he agreed to help me out. Vern
