Hi, looking for further. advice

Trying to fix my dad's 2000 xk8. Car was running and driving fine, however had a coolant leak due to split thermostat housing, which has been replaced, but since then the car wouldn't start, changed the battery and knock sensors as that came up on the fault codes, but it starts but in restricted performance mode, miss firing and it will idle but as soon as you touch the throttle it cuts out.

Any ideas what could be causing this? What else would a coolant leak affect?
