I have seen the threads on the batt voltage. My car has been sitting all day, 8 hours, it is about 45-50 degree outside. Just had the batt voltage read, was at 12.44. Is that a good voltage? I ask because I am still having random lose of mem for the car windows to go up after you close the door. Both doors have done it a few times over the last months with the pass one doing it last week. I reset them then they are ok.

I got my battery "load" tested today at a car parts place with the battery in the car. The process only asked to turn the lights on then off. It was 45 degrees out, car was sitting for about 24 hours and just hopped in and took to car place about 5 min away.
His reading was voltage 12.34, LOWER then test I did with meter in the first post here.
Measured 692 CCA, battery is a 950 CCA. It said the battery was good but needed charged. The battery was made in 2010.
I post this today because last night I got a weird event with the lights. I had them on auto, they were on working fine as they always d0, I turned on the fog lights and they shut off, fogs lights on all. I turned them back to ON not auto and they worked fine and the fogs. One other odd thing is when it did this 1/3 of the radio display went dark. I tapped on it and it was ok again. So I fiddled with the lights and the AUTO was not working when in auto and it was dark outside. I got it to work on auto only once then just put the lights on ON and went home. Got in car today and all the functions were working normal auto no issues.
I wonder if the battery is the issues as I have had recent one off door windows not holding settings.
I ganna think I need to prob go ahead and get a battery. These batts have a vent tube right????

Brg, Yes, on the vent hole. The plug in tube is sometimes laying behind the battery and hasn't been plugged in for like ever. A possibly 5 year old battery in this car is always suspect.
Did you ever check the little metal tag that falls down when you pull your key out, it sucks voltage if it doesn't close.

Sounds like a new battery is a very good place to start. Low voltage will product all sorts of illogical issues with the car's electronics.
The key slot cover may or may not be shutting down the security control module. You can verify that by measuring the current drain between the battery and one of the battery cables removed. After 20+ minutes the current should drop below 30ma.
