Default 1998 XK8 Valve Cover Gaskets Options

I know this has several threads, however I want to make sure I get the correct gasket set for my 1998, I attached two photos, the door sticker and the front of the cam cover for the VVT. NAPA stated they had the Lincoln LS 3.9 FelPro set but not positive its for mine. The ones on there now are new but leaking and I am not sure what was put on there when doing the timing chain and new travelers prior to my purchase.

Thanks for your assistance

That's an AJ26, the fel pro are too thin to provide a good seal.

Thanks for the information, so does that mean only Jag gaskets will work?

Yes it does. You can find them on ebay or from the online parts suppliers.

If it is only the VVT seal that's leaking, it can be bought separately. The Jag price is not expensive. It's also very easy to install. Takes 5 minutes.

I used the Fel Pro gaskets when I changed out my tensioners. They are weeping slightly from both sides. I will replace them with the Jag gaskets when time allows. Minor savings on the gaskets is going to cost lots of time.
