Default 2000 XK8 convertible - Need to replace/repair left kick panel

My driver’s side kick panel (cashmere-trim SDZ) has beencracked in several places. I believe the cracks were caused by the dealership in2007 when replacing the hydraulic latch hoses for the convertible top which Iam replacing again. I have searched the Forum, Google, and eBay to try andlocate an intact one to replace the damaged one. Is there any suggestion as towhere I can find a left kick panel? In addition, are there any best techniques to repair the cracks in the kick panel if onecannot be located?

If you cannot locate a used one in the correct color, consider redying one of another color with the correct leather dye.

Do you mean this ABS panel (this is my RH side panel)?

If so, have the cracks affected the fixing points?

For some reason I was thinking knee bolster, not kick panel. If it is the plastic kick panel as illustrated by GGG above, your cashmere interior was paired with a darker color below called sable, code AEK.

The part number you need is therefore HJA1381ADAEK. If Jag still stocks it you can get it new here: http://www.gaudinjaguarparts.com/par...w=21&maxRow=10
