I am new to Jags. I went to start the car and it would not turn over. the instuments were going crazy and the wipers were moving in a jerking motion. the window went down about an inch and I was lucky to get them to go back up. it kept running fault codes. I was using the green valet key. is this something to do with engine immobilizer? it ran fine two days ago thanks

 

Have your battery checked for free anywhere they sell car batteries. These cars will behave very erratically with a weak battery.

Jump starting this car with a very weak battery can sometimes cause damage. Charge the battery instead. Then, once charged, disconnect the battery for a minute and reconnect it to reset all the computers.
