Hi All,
This is my first attempt at posting a picture, hope it works. I tried unsuccessfully from my cell ph. I just put fender vents on my cat. What do you think? I paid $11.00 for them at Wal-Mart. The came in Black and I obviously had to paint them. Don't let the word Wal-Mart cloud your thinking. LOL.
Thanks,
Mike

I can't see the picture yet but can say that I have a natural aversion to ANY vents or other exterior knick-knacks that look like they should be serving some function but aren't.

Default 2001 XK8 Fender Vents (Redone)

Hi All,
Here are some fender vents that are on my other thread. Sorry, I am learning how to do stuff. I received responses that said that they couldn't open my attachment. These came from Wal-Mart in black and cost $11.00. Without the name in mind; LOL, what do you think?
Thanks,
Mike

It holds some promise...I'd like to see them inverted (put the left on the right and vice versa).

I knew those were the ones! I almost did the same thing. I wish they were about a foot long. They do look like small Aston Martin db7 vents a bit.
I thought about using two sets and have one on door and match up one on fender. So it looked like the db7
Yours look pretty cool! I may have to re think putting them on my car!

Looks very similar!2001 XK8 Fender Vents-image.jpg actually VERY similar!! I'm liking more and more!!
Was this the one with the chrome blade running through? I saw one on ebay that would look good if the chrome blade was left chrome and surround painted body color!

2001 XK8 Fender Vents-image.jpg are these like yours?
It'd be cool if you used a bit of black matte film behind mesh to make it look open.

If you try hard enough you can make the car look just like a Kia Optima!

Yes, those in your post R identical except mine were black and they DO have black matte behind the screens. Photo just doesn't show it.
Thanks,
Mike
