97 XK8 Convertible windshield washer reservoir leaking
My windshield washer reservoir when filled leaks.
There seems to be two different reservoirs available for this car; I've searched EBay and there are two reservoirs listed for the 97 XK8.
i believe my car uses the reservoir with the long neck. Would someone kindly tell me which tank my car has, and help me with instructions on how to replace it.
Thanks!

The reservoir difference is Powerwash/Non Powerwash for the headlamps.

The assembly is behind the LH wheelarch liner (this is my 2001 RHD. I don't think it's on the opposite side for LHD cars but members with LHD's will be able to confirm.)
A regular fault is leakage from the filler tube so it is worth investigating before buying a replacement reservoir.

This is my 1997 washer bottle on my rhd car.
Don't assume the bottle itself is cracked or broken unless you are sure - the arrow on my photo points to a joint where a thin rubber tube goes over a plastic spigot. That's where mine was leaking, and a small cable tie (the little white one) around that joint solved the problem.
