Default 97 XK8 Engine fault no code

Hi to all, need your help. I have 97 xk8 i owned it for 3 years. Car wont start at first attempt it cranks but wont start, engine fault massage displays and i have to wait couple minutes then massage go off and car start right away and run without any problem. But when i shot off engine and try to start it go again with same problem all the time, it seems the longer the interval beetwen start the longer i have to wait to massage to go off. There in NO code just massage. I checked the fuel pressure its fine, then i disconnect fuel injector and check if there is voltage when i crank the engine and no voltage when car wont start but after car start voltage is there like it should be. I did change the rotary switch on the transmission and that does not helped. I all so change the throttle body and still with the same problem...

It wouldn't have been the transmission switch - the engine won't turn over if it thinks it's in gear. How are you checking the injector pulse? I assume you're not just putting a voltmeter across the terminals and are using something that shows frequency or pulse-width?

That's no good as a test. (And on some car systems a test light can cause damage.)

You could have a fuel problem or maybe a power/ground fault.

Is the warning light Red or Yellow? it should be on along with the message.

Yellow but no DTC code can be detected by my OBD2 reader. And no fuel problem.

Are you just using a generic code reader, rather than something Jaguar-specific?
