SNG has lowered their pricing for the strut tower mounts to high $90's + free shipping. Ordered mine last Wed and they arrived FAST, on Sat. Had them installed today and just got my car back and ohhhhh what a nice difference it makes!


Yea, I know, it's just the mounts but it does make a noticeable difference.


A local shop just 3 blocks from my house did it for $165+tax, $183, for both sides!!! Thought about doing it myself but for that price I couldn't resist.


Cam chain tensioners is next. Gonna save and hopefully in 3mo's I can go ahead and get that done. AND, after we open the valve covers, it might already have been done. The elderly gentleman I bought the car from 6yrs ago couldn't remember if he had it done.


if you need those mounts done, remember, SNG has em for a good price!

How many miles are on your car? Did they check the lower mounts on the shocks up front? At 100k mine were toast.

 

Hey, mine has just 49.5k on it. Car is in great condition! those tower mounts were very dry and shock tips had both moved to the metal housing and I was getting the 'clakking' when running over slight bumps etc.


the manager of this place gave it a good look over & whatever else they do and road tested it and said as far as he was concerned, all was AOK.
