Default ABS Light on after brake refresh

I've searched but haven't found an answer:

Will the ABS light, once it's on, stay on until a car is driven after a complete brake service (hoses, calipers)? The reservoir was completely drained, refilled, and pressure bled (LF, RF, LR, RR).

I removed all the wheel sensors to see if they needed cleaning while doing the work and they were fine. Reinstalled them.

ABS light is on. Still have work to do so can't drive it yet but before I get everything all buttoned up and since it's on jack stands - I need to know if I should go back through the system or if it will go away (assuming everything is fine) after it drives for a bit.

Thanks

Read your OBDII codes and report them here....

With my reader the OBDII codes are proprietary.

Nothing has changed on the car - it has not been driven since new calipers, lines, and a fluid flush.

I can't remember whether the ABS light stays on on my XK8 until the car gets up to 5 mph or something. Some of my vehicles do that and some don't.

You need a better scan tool. You can clear the ABS errors with the scan tool, and then drive and see if it recurs. You'll also be able to post the codes. It may be coincidental.

To close this out - yes the ABS light will go off after driving.
