Default Access to aerial?

I need to remove the aerial for repair or replacement on my x100 convertible .I have removed the four bolts that hold the frame down, but can't get the frame to move. It still feels attached at the back somehow. I have had a look under the frame and there seems to be a plate running up the back. I need to move this as i have very little access to remove the aerial. any thoughts are much appreciated.

I think you have to remove the amp, SatNav and CD changer in order to access all the bolts required to remove the housing in order to get better access to the aerial. IIRC I replaced mine without removing the amp stack. You'll need a 1/4" extension long enough to reach back there, bur there are only 2 bolts holding the assembly to the mounting flange.

Did you unscrew the nut on the outside of the antenna?

Best regards, Willi
