Default Air bag light - RESOLVED

Removed and replaced steering column yesterday, now have air bag light on. Pretty sure everything got connected correctly, any suggestions?

Light blinks a couple times then stays on. I will count the blinks tonight and report back here.

Thanks.

For relevant parts of the SRS (Supplementary Restraint System) in the area where you've been working, check the Instrument Pack harness connectors and the clock spring / Driver's Airbag connector. A poor connection on either of these will trigger the Airbag warning light.

The blink code should give more information.

The clock spring transfers the electrical signals from the SRS to the Driver's Airbag module.

It's located on the steering column behind the steering wheel.

I checked the flash, looks like 19 (once, then nine more) and looking at the flash code bulletin provided by Norri I'm looking at clock spring and connectors as you mentioned Graham.

Thanks

Dave,

Good news.

I've added RESOLVED to your thread title to help others looking for a solution to this particular Airbag issue in future.
