Hard to tell, sounds like a good car. The window issue is a 5 minute fix. At 40K miles there's no mention of any repairs other than the tensioners and pulley bearings. At 14 years old most of the rubber bits are due or getting close to be needing replacement.

I say it will go for $13K. If it wasn't another 2K to ship to me and Silver I'd be very tempted myself.

I'm hoping he gets about $25k, but realistically speaking, I would guess it will go off at about $10,300. It does appear to be a very nice car, although I wish it had seen more regular use, even if it meant a bit higher mileage. No matter what, the buyer will be getting a fantastic car for the money. I wish I had the means to collect XKs. I am convinced the bottom of the market is near and in not too many years, good examples will fetch good money. Even if they didn't, I would still enjoy just looking at a stable full of them.

Its a very desirable colour and looks well presented - I would certainly swap it for mine, but is that 40k wear on the seats?
They don't appear to wear very well

the seats on the cars did not hold up well, but can be redone for very reasonable prices. I would not worry about that being an indication of miles.

It's likely more an indication that the owner is fat..

Well for $9,301 that was a buy assuming there were no big surprises.

I wish whoever stole that car good luck. Certainly looks like the buy of the week to me.
