Cool antenna

hey forum, I was just looking at all the ways to disconnect the antenna from going up................. I just listen to cd's..... can I avoid all the different ways to rewire an pull fuses etc. and just pull the wire off the antenna in the trunk and be done with it ??????????? ths tony

It's a PIA to get to. Has a locking tag on the side against the fender.

If you look at the connectors on the side of the amp it's the same type, a little white button to press and it come off.

pain in the but to get to the little white button ( not sure where button is on the plastic connector)... can I disconnect the black antenna wire instead ???

****** got it had to move my hands around a bit but I got it... antenna stays down and didn"t have to go crazy with wiring.... also the fm still works not as good , but it works............. no am though.... can always plug back in if needed...................thanks happy holidays & happy new year.. tony

Dang, pulling the fuse in the trunk box (#14 if I recall) is awfully simple .

A little more work, but more elegant solution is wiring in a switch for it: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...antenna-24564/

Certainly the best way to go, and really very simple to do...even I managed it without undue strain .
