They're highly recommended in the UK, lots of XKEC members have them, if that helps. They do an over-axle system too, for another couple of hundred iirc.

Note that stainlessteelexhausts.com will do the overaxle + straight throughs for £350 total

I installed that last May and drove around for about 1 month. Easy to do but reinstalled the original ones because of a droning inside the cabin in the range of 1.500 - 2.000 rpms. That was not too loud but somehow a little disturbing especially on long cruising tours. Besides that the sound is really nice! I don't know if this is specific to my car's architecture (pretty original though)?

I still have them in perfect shape and are selling them for a good price. If you're interested send me a PM (need to check if the are fitting I do have a 2001 XK8).

Cheers,
Nicolas

Devspider has the best setup. Remove the central muffler and the two muffler eyes, keep the over the axles pipes, use Magnaflows for the rears.

Rear muffler deletes are not better.

And dismiss the nonsense about how the over the axle crimped pipes reducing performance , they don't. Straight pipe with those things in place and no rear mufflers and your xkr low end torques is substantially, very noticeably reduced. $300 in labor and $200 parts and you can get Devapider setup. If only I had known up front in my own exhaust ventures...

The sound is awesome but one thing bothers me.
Sound on 2.000 rpm in the long run can be disruptive.
Occurs exactly on 2.000 rpm then disappears.
