If your Jag is a right hand drive. Then your in luck. The project just got much easier. You will not have to disassemble the dash. You begin by removing the
glove box and glove box door.
Is your Jag a right hand drive?

Mudjag2,

I've DELETED your same question from X350 forum and MOVED your same question here from X-Type forum together with the replies.

To aid the discussion, here's a diagram of the A/C System. You are asking about item 3:

Here is a detailed diagram of the A/CCM:

thanks graham:
i am seeing your diagram(s). Im looking for a "how to" get to the LHD actuators. I am reading that right hand drive puts the glove box removal as the way to go
obviously i am left hand drive in USA. So I am assuming that is NOT the way to start this since i wont be seeing the actuators comin in that a-way?

I think you are right - the Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel will have to be removed on LHD vehicles and NOT the Glovebox. Hopefully US members will post to confirm.

is there someone who has done this and has a procedure, I am first concerned about removing the trim pieces without breaking the plastic pegs. and then locating and replacing the actuators on an actual 1997- 2000 XK8
