I enjoyed driving my XK8 ,listening to the engine for any odd noises then I bought a GPS/Music system to replace the Radio .
Oh boy did my wife love it ....belting out music so loud I could not even hear the indicators going .
So I fitted a repeater connected to the body module behind the glove box.
One buzzer and two diodes Gy Gk bottom left but found on the module on my car bottom Right second and third one in.
the two diodes are 1N4005 or similar and any miniature 12v buzzer is ok dependent on the tone you want. Under $5 for the lot.
The advantage is she now loves the car except when the GPS or Speeding Camera Radar interrupts the music with directions or warning.

This is intriguing but slightly confusing…what exactly did this “repeater” do once installed? And why exactly did you install it? Just curious because after I fix all my issues and get a sticker I was gonna upgrade the stereo system
ahhh, this makes the indicator repeater louder. I have been tempted to change the bulbs for the turn signal indicator lights for LEDs, only on the signals, as they are quite quiet as standard in the jag and not terribly bright, and I do often forget to cancel them. And in fact once or twice Ive passed XK8s on the freeway and they have their turn signal going too lol.
I would prefer a brighter flasher though, to a buzzer. Still, both are better solutions to failing to cancel the signal than using the Audi/BMW procedure.
